Summer Conference for Pastor’s – India 2011

The Summer Conference for Pastor’s in India was held on 29th, 30th of June and 1st of July 2011 in Bangalore, the garden city of India, which is a major cosmopolitan city.  It was a Heaven on Earth experience organized by the leadership of Apostle S. Arthur Paul. This was more of a Supernatural Conference, from the inception it was decided and planned. This mammoth Conference was the first of its kind here in India, being conducted exclusively for Pastors who saw the Heaven open and a high intense fire being poured out powerfully. It was a real encouragement to the battered Indian Christian Pastors and Leaders who have been going through severe persecutions for the last couple of years, and have seen many hundreds of churches being literally broken.

Hundreds of Pastors have been killed mercilessly and many Pastors have given up their Ministry, fearing for their lives and the safety of their families as well as experiencing dejection and failure. So this Conference was the number one best place of encouragement and the real power station to equip and empower the Pastors to fulfill the great commission. For a number of years Satan had been ruling this nation and millions of people in India have fallen prey to the false words of Satan. For ages Satan has been crushing the people and they are being suppressed by the forces of witchcraft and human sacrifices, as a result, even some of the Pastors were living in fear of witchcraft and satanic forces and were being suppressed. But through this Pastors Conference, more than 7000 Pastors and Leaders have been trained from the various rural Churches across India and its neighborhood, so that they can go into the battlefield and destroy every satanic power working in Indian society and in our Governments, and this is the beginning of the end for Satan, who usurped India and ruled it for years.

The planning and preparation for this Conference was undertaken purely by Prayer, Prayer and more Prayer. More than six hundred and fifty people from Grace Gospel Church signed up to fast and pray over periods of seventy days, forty days and some for thirty days with a twenty four hour chain prayer for the organising of the Conference.

More than seven thousand enthusiastic Pastors from all over the Indian subcontinent attended the Conference, with seventy Pastors from Nepal, seven from Sri Lanka, four from Bangladesh and two from Burma attending the Conference. The Pastors said that the messages were very simple and very practical and useful for them in their war against the devil. The teachings really touched each and every one of us. The message the Pastor spoke in depth about was the love of God, and on the final day he inspired and challenged us to serve Him, which really made all the Pastors and leaders present excited to serve the Lord with more vigour and zeal.



The anointing during the prayer time was so thick that there was so much of the glory of God in the hall. Some of the very orthodox and Senior Pastors and denomination leaders were stunned and amazed at the sight of all the people lifting their hands in the air and crying out to God, and as they felt the fire falling in the hall, everyone’s hands went up in the air and the Holy Spirit’s fire fell on every single individual. There had never had been this kind of experience in any Conference so far. This is really historic to see Pastors of different languages and different Regions coming together and shouting and praying like this. Not in any city or at any conference in the history of Christianity in India has ever witnessed such a gathering with a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit’s fire.



One Pastor said, “The Pastor speaks to me as though he has known me all my life,” and a conference attendee said, “He keeps it simple and direct. I feel God in this place and I am totally transformed.”

Another Pastor said, “I have been challenged and equipped with the power of Holy Spirit for the first time in my life, I closed down my church when I came to the conference, now I have started my church service after 3 months once again. I thank Pastor Samson for the support.”

Another Pastor said, “We want this conference to happen twice a year, even after a week, I am still on fire, fire that I received during the conference, praise God”



The major outcome of the Conference is that many of the Pastors received a new and enlarged vision to work more effectively and efficiently for the Lord no matter what it costs. Large numbers of the delegates, more than 75% of the Pastors who had come from the rural areas and villages personally testified that they had come with so much dejection and rejection in life and wanting to give up on Ministry. They came and testified that now they’ve received a new Grace of God in this Conference and that they are encouraged and challenged to serve God more diligently and not to give up.

One Pastor named Ganga, having been in the Ministry for twelve years and planting one main church and eight daughter churches, was simply dejected because of his problems and wanted to stop the Ministry from August, but after attending the Conference, he was touched so much that he repented in the presence of the Lord and then got filled full of the Holy Spirit. He became stronger and healthier to serve God more and plant many more fire filled churches in a shorter time.

It had been a desire for more than three years for Pastor Arthur Paul to encourage the rural and village Pastors and equip them with the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit as well as to encourage them and release them into the Mission field. God has now fulfilled that dream and desire, which is His purpose.



Many young leaders have new challenges and callings to go for full time Ministry as Missionaries and we will be hearing news of new Church plants and many unreached people groups will be hearing the Gospel for the first time.   Already a great big revival has started with many hundreds of churches changing their praying styles. Revival has just begun in India.

All of the delegates were given tasty breakfasts, hot chicken biriyani for lunch and nice good spicy food for dinner on all the three days, and nobody was lacking. On the last day all of the six thousand plus delegates were given Bible holding bags as gifts, and for few deserving village Pastors they were given one hundred bicycles, two hundred and fifty guitars and five hundred tambourines for using in their Churches and Ministry.



We also had glorious worship everyday for those three days. The Worship team was led by Starwin Paul and Jabez Paul and was just simply SUPERB and the presence of God came down upon that place and the people were filled with the Holy Spirit!  Every Pastor and Leader present there couldn’t resist dancing and worshiping the Lord and giving God all the Praise, including the very orthodox and serious Pastors.

One Pastor couldn’t walk because he had walked so many miles to the villages and climbed rough hills for years. This had given him problems with his knees, and God healed him in the Conference and now he can walk normally again.

Another Pastor, who had come along with his sixteen leaders, had been suffering from severe chronic headaches for many years, after Pastor prayed for the sickness and disease the Pastor got instantly healed and was totally delivered and testified that he’d got a new vision for his Ministry.
